I bought this gate for my daughter because I wanted a gate that was more compact than the swing gates, which I also have. What a wonderful invention!! This gate retracts when not in use to the point that you barely know it's there. It locks in place very securely and is easy to open and close. It is perfect for really any doorway including a bedroom where you still want to close the door if necessary. It also isn't an eyesore and doesn't ruin a room's decor. After I used it for my daughter, I kept it up because it's so compact and used it for my german shepherd. This gate seems a little pricey but I'm thinking about getting another for the top of our stairs because our second child is on the way. This is a safe and non-bulky gate that is worth every penny!!

This really is an ideal gate for the top of the stairway. Really safe and sturdy and nice looking too. One tip though, have it installed by a pro or someone that really knows how to do it to get the full use of it. Get this gate- I think you will Love it.

I work as a child daycare provider out of my home. Needless to say safety is important, but I also try to keep everything convienent for my family as well. My own children no longer need a gate, so I wanted something that could "disapear" for family time.<br />

This is the safest and least visable gate yet! Everyone has asked me about it and where to get it. I shopped around guys...this is a great price, great product, plus easy to install. Thanks so much!!

I love that it can be hid around the corner and nobody notices it. It takes a little getting used to the way it works but once you have it down, the unique design is great.
